Our Story

The beautiful story of New Wine Harvest Church is comprised completely in the unique make-up of the individuals who call NWHC their home. Although vastly different in their journeys, there are 3 cords that bind each of us together.

We Are…

We are real people infused with dynamic faith, committed to a common vision, joined together in the covenant love of our Creator.

We Used to Be…

We used to be completely broken but are now grateful for undeserved redemption, astonished by amazing Grace, healed by forgiveness and humbled by the divine invitation to be included in the greatest cause on earth.

We Serve…

We serve a good and perfect God. The nations are His dwelling and our lives are His vessels. We have compassion for the poor, and our hearts are open to the rich.

What We Believe

God’s radical, unconditional and steadfast love.

People encounter that love and build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Bible:

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that none may add or take away from it.

+ + +

The Trinity:

We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit and these three are one God.

+ + +

The Church:

We believe that the Church consists of all persons who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and made new people in Christ Jesus.

+ + +

The Savior:

We believe that all that have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that through the death and risen power of Christ, all who believe and confess Jesus as Lord can be saved from the penalty and power of sin.

+ + +

The Healer:

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the healer and that healing is provided for in the atonement.

+ + +

The Coming King:

We believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive to Himself all born again believers.

+ + +

The Gifts:

We believe that the Church should claim and express the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8-10).

We recognize that ‘church’ has not always been portrayed as a welcoming, non-judgmental and safe place. We apologize for those that have misrepresented the love of Jesus Christ and desire to change the world’s perception of ‘church’.  We will not tolerate a holier than thou attitude by anyone, we are all sinners and broken people that He is piecing back together.  Lastly, we believe that Jesus really walked the earth, died on the cross and rose again on the third day; we will never compromise that message.

Our heartbeat is to be an effectual expression of the Body of Christ that grows warmer through fellowship, deeper through discipleship, stronger through worship and prayer, broader through ministry and larger through active evangelism.

We as a church are not concerned with where you have been, but where you are going.
